The course I’m looking for is not available.

In the event where the course that you are looking for is not available, you may explore and search for the course elsewhere.

During the search, you need to consider all the following criteria:

  1. HRDC Claimable – Courses that are registered by HRDC are claimable using our HRDC Funds. Means the company will either claim between 50%-100% from the funds to cover the cost. For non-HRDC registered courses, the course fee will be fully paid by the company.
  2. Course Relevance – The course should be related to your work and help you to improve your skills, competencies and performance.
  3. Course Cost – Depending on the cost, the company may consider priority or alternative. The company may impose a bond for course with high fee.
  4. Course Duration – Your absence from work to attend for training might impact the team. Its better to consider shorter courses or in staggered course duration.
  5. Learning Outcome – The amount of key takeaway that you can learn from this course.
  6. Value to personal career – The investment return that this course will offer you when you gain mastery in this course.
  7. Course Venue – The distance between the office/house and course venue will incur more time, cost and effort for you to attend. The further you travel, the more time, money and energy to be spent.
  8. Training Method – Physical training is better way to learn effectively than virtual. However, it may incur additional time, cost and effort to attend as compared to attending virtual learning.

Once you have identified the course you want, fill up the Training Requisition Form. HR will not entertain any claims without the approved form.
